A fire ripped through homes and a mosque at the Kutupalong Rohingya refugee in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, on Wednesday, April 24, reports said. The International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC) tweeted several people were injured, including a child, and that the fire had scorched at least 27 homes and a mosque. According to the Dhaka Tribune, a fire official said two Rohingya were injured while trying to extinguish the fire, and 30 homes and a mosque were gutted. This footage shows clouds of smoke billowing from of the fire, as well as the aftermath of the blaze. Kutupalong, the largest of the refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar, was home to more than 628,000 people as of March, according to a UNHCR report.
