BRCA Delegate Met with Australian Foreign Minister Hon. Bob Carr to Raise the Awareness for Rohingyas and Burmese Muslims in Burma

BRCA delegate met with Australian Foreign Minister, Mr Bob Carr in his Sydney office on 29.05.2013 to raise the awareness of the latest humanitarian crisis and ethnic cleansing policies against Rohingyas in Rakhine State, Burma. BRCA team also highlighted the latest violence against Muslims in Lashio, Shan State, Burma.

Mr Bob Carr promised that he will raise the Australian Government�s serious concern for the violence and human right violations against Rohingyas and Burmese Muslims in Burma during his upcoming visit to Burma in early July 2013. Besides he also mentioned that he will visit one of the Rohingya IDPs camps in Sittwe, Rakhine State.

At the end of the meeting, BRCA handed over the appeal letter prepared to Mr Bob Carr for detailed information in regard to Rohingyas and Burmese Muslims.
